Can you search the whole of craigslist, or only by city/state at a time?

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I know there are CDJ1000s on craigslist but if I search:
CDJ1000 site:www.craigslist.org
I get nothing. BTW, I'm not looking for CDJ1000s, it's just an example. |

Because you specified www.craigslist.org. Notice, a local one is NOT www.craigslist.org. ;)
www.craigslist.org = the top most parent. Which has no listings. |

http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&s...l=&oq=&gs_rfai=
insert word searched where cdj1000 is.
what this means is
type
"craigslist" + "'GIVEN SEARCH TERM HERE'"
so go to google
type
craigslist cdj1000
no need for the .org etc..
If you'd like to search butternut cookies
type
"craigstlist" + "butternut cookies"
you get a result like
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&&sa=X&ei=DpV1TLTgBseOjAepwd2rBg&ved=0CBQQvwUoAQ&q=craigslist+butternut+cookies&spell=1
(note "butternut cookies" craigslist yeilds no results but (butternut cookies cragistlist does.
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&&...cookies&spell=1 |

That is a cool site.
This is dumb. This will include results that aren't on craiglist.

| All of Craigs is another mass craigslist search with a decent interface but I highly recommend some form of ad blocking |
