I stayed at the Bond Place Hotel on Dundas overlooking Dundas Square, and I couldn't recommend a hotel more then this place. It's rated as a 2 1/2 star but it's spotless, brand new.. flat screen TVs, very simple modern rooms, comfortable beds, brand new bathrooms.. I paid $79/night on hotwire just last weekend. If you see a deal for $79/night downtown east toronto I highly suggest it. I also called them and asked for a queen size bed and they hooked me up. |
we call that place The Bed Bug Hotel.
never going there again. id rather sleep on the street. |

Forgot about this! Rooms are strange...once we didn't have any windows that looked outside.
I stayed at Bond Place hotel when I went to guv for new years like 10 years ago...awww. It was dodgy back then! |

i must defend this as I work at One King West. The trick here is to get a room on a higher floor as the lower portion of the building is boxed in by the surrounding banks and tall office buildings.
I can get decent rates...however not over labour day weekend or in the leadup to the film festival. |

| in addition, the 14th floor has a werid layout as it is where the tower section connects with the historical part of the building. I would avoid rooms on the 14th floor. |
