It's rated as a 2 1/2 star but it's spotless, brand new.. flat screen TVs, very simple modern rooms, comfortable beds, brand new bathrooms.. I paid $79/night on hotwire just last weekend. If you see a deal for $79/night downtown east toronto I highly suggest it. I also called them and asked for a queen size bed and they hooked me up.

we call that place The Bed Bug Hotel.
never going there again. id rather sleep on the street.

Forgot about this! Rooms are strange...once we didn't have any windows that looked outside.

I stayed at Bond Place hotel when I went to guv for new years like 10 years ago...awww. It was dodgy back then!

i must defend this as I work at One King West. The trick here is to get a room on a higher floor as the lower portion of the building is boxed in by the surrounding banks and tall office buildings.

I can get decent rates...however not over labour day weekend or in the leadup to the film festival.

in addition, the 14th floor has a werid layout as it is where the tower section connects with the historical part of the building. I would avoid rooms on the 14th floor.

like two others have mentioned, 1 King West. Look for promotions on their website too.

Great continental breakfast as well. :toocool:
