There is NO WAY the Pats are going to even come close this year. The only reason they even made it to the Super Bowl last year was because of that play where Brady fumbled off a rush by Woodson and the call was overturned. Way too many bounces had to go their way last year. And i dont think Brady (although i do like the guy) has it in him to put in that kind of consistancy for a full year.
I do see the Dolphins making a big move in the AFC with Ricky Williams FINALLY giving the Phins a dominant running game. Fiedler should put up excellent numbers this year with his rejuvinated rush attack, and Chris Chambers will make everyone forget about Randy Moss.
Super Bowl Prediction............Miami 26 St. Louis 24 |

I live in Los Angeles and still root for the Raiders. They have a shot, but it would have been better if they had kept their head coach.
I think we'll see the Rams vs Steelers in the Super Bowl this year.
Come on guys. If you don't like the NFL, then why bother entering this thread. I'm an all around sports person, enjoying footall and the other football. Maybe it's because I'm European-American. I like almost all the sports out there. I even watch baseball. Laugh all you want guys, but I live for sports and trance. Peace.// ;) |

| I also like the raiders, They have a bunch of future hall of famers on the team. Theres only 2 problems with them in my mind. First there really old. Rice is almost 40, Tim Brown is 38 or so, and Rich Gannon is in the late 30's, so I wonder if they can all stay healthy for a full season. The other problem is they lost gruden, which isn't super horrible, but he's better then there current coach:( |

yea rams vs. steelers is a good choice. might be the most obvious one. I'm a Giants fan. not gonna be a good year. lost alot of key players last year and picked up nobody. got a good TE in the draft though. i know they wont be good, but i'll be rooting hardcore as always. and sebby i'm wit ya on the last comment, i live for sports and trance also, and of course women :) |

Philadelphia all the way!!.... theres no doubt in my mind that philly will make it to the playoffs and hopefully the superbowl. They're a good team and have been my team since day one. Im the biggest eagles fan that there is, considering I live in denver. The broncos are looking good this year too, so I wouldnt be surprised if they went somewhere. But I just have one comment to say. Last year when philadelphia played st. louis it was a hell of a game. And in my opinion and in the minds of many others Ive talked to, if philadelphia would've beat st. louis then philadelphia would have surely beat new england with no problem at all. Philly had st. louis in the first half and much of the second half too. It was just the 4th qtr. that messed em' up. Let me know what you think of that if you can remember. But I do give props to new england although I really hate them! They did win the superbowl after all. Although I think st. louis should have beat them.... lataz
P.S. Philadelphia is gonna win this year :tongue2 |

| I can't believe I forgot to say women. Yeah!!! So it's sports, trance, and women. Not necessarily in that order. It would be so hard to rank them. Ahhhhhh!!!!!! |

i going for the Pats again. ive always been a patriots fan as long as ive watched football. last year with Brady as QB they got the job done and the only people to give them credit for a good year were the devote fans. hell, look at the console games and stuff like that. the Rams and other teams are all over the covers and the commercials but guess what...they en lost last year. you dont see a Pats player anywhere and they were the winning team.
anyway i think they still have it in them. maybe not another superbowl but they will make the finals. |
yep ive been at pats fan my whole life too. itd be a crime living in new england and not rooting for the pats :p :p |

The Bucs are going to dominate!!! This year we got the offence to go with the defence!! BRING IT!!! :stongue:
As far as flops go, I think the Texans will got max 4 wins but will still do better than the Panthers, Bengals and prolly the Lions again. As for a good team flopping, watch the Dolphins struggle.
Surprises will be the Redskins (ALL GATORS, BABY) and the Colts will have a much better year than the last. Not a surprise but the Broncos are going to rock this year too. They got 2 major receivers, two great backs and an always-improving defence.
Superbowl Prediction: Bucs over Broncos
And I HATE the Rams!! |

I just don't seem to understand some people...
why do they think that football and soccer are mutually exclusive of each other???
meaning that, why do so many people enjoy one while also disliking the other one ??? |

| Just because you don't know how a sport works, doesn't mean it's bad. If that's the case, cricket can go to hell. |

How can you say Miami is going to struggle????
For the first time EVER they have a superstar running back!!!
Jay Fiedler will turn it on this year with the added support in the backfield, and Chris Chambers is going to BLOW UP!!!! And for Tampa having a good year......very likely, but they better do it this year with the amount of draft picks they gave up for Gruden. I agree with Washington and Indy doing very well this year. Spurrier has the offence going nuts in the preseason averaging around 40 points a game!?!?!? What the hell??? And with the division modification, Indy should flourish in the weakest division in the league (afc south). They both should have 10 win seasons. |
