point being he plays ALL styles fluidly BETTER than the so-called best ska for each style....u just have to get on the train and enjoy the ride. Desyn is one of the most if not the most talented DJs when it comes to blending styles seamlessly. He was plugged in and on another level...even threw in a drum n bass track! |

| Yeah I really enjoyed his set and the variety he threw down. It was nice to see some proggier stuff going down so well there. |

| desyn seemed to take a long time to get going but he threw it down. i enjoyed his set a lot! it was really hot inside. My shirt was all wet and I had to take it off and put my hoodie back on haha. |

the crowd definitely enjoyed his later stuff more. i mean, most of the ppl there enjoy 126 bpm house music, not so much queeny disco edits like me :). but i do feel Desyn prefers playing the disco/funkier sounds more.
He's only started playing more variety in his sets recently. his sets from 2004-2005 were really straight-up disco house. there was a reason he jumped up so quickly in the DJ mag polls. nobody played tracks that he did. but shortly after SOS formed, he started sounding a bit more generic. personally, I wish he would've stuck to his original sound. all in all though, it was still great to finally see him. the first hr reminded me why i like him so much. |

this night was going to be different from the usual com# parties and was aimed more at the prog fans than techno/house. it was expected and even let known to me when i was asked on my opinion for the booking. luckily gun likes desyn's progressive style and the tickets sold out :) |

and Cameron & Matt totally impressed with their head-to-head set...not tagging, actually playing at the same time mixing independently but making it work into this insanely fluid awesome set. I gotta post some videos..lazy. |
