In certain parts you can hear how the break-fx, to introduce another part, is letting the music pump way too much. I would recommend to get rid off the that plugin and re-adjust some channel volumnes and if you want a sort of "mastering" on your track, rather track a combination of a some light EQ, compression and a limiter that works more transparent.

Thanks for the tip... I will definitely put it to good use. Been boggled down with my other job so I havent had time the past 2 weeks to really put some solid time into production. Hopefully with your advice I can really bring out this track.

Sounds good, only one problem: It's too slow. I'd like to see a tempo increase to 145 BPM. Oh, and more variation and depth.

BTW, if you use FL, can you send me the flp? Don't worry about unsupported VSTs, i can replicate the sounds as good as I can.

What do you plan on doing with it?

Bring some touch of my style, consider it a remix. Now, can I have the FLP or not? Be sure to bring me all the non-native samples.

PointPI meaning: He hears something that he finds very interesting, but can't do himself, hence he is keen on your file, to find out what it is and then copy it. :D

Me too
Mad for Brad
kept waiting for a main bass and kick to drop. Rather disappointing. The kick and bass platform just isn't working.

Right and wrong, replicating something that has already have been made is part of the learning process.

Although, I won't claim the work as my own, but I take for granted the track and file is shared under Creative Commons, which means I can tweak the file however I want, under the circumstances I give credit to the original author and don't use it for commercial purposes. So copying wasn't my intention, only improving.

The first main problem I have with doing this, is the fact that I don't own any VEC pack, making it hard to make a good, up-to-date drive in my track. In case you wonder, I won't buy any of them, I prefer to take a look how those samples are made.

The other main problem I have is to replicate all the score by ear, so in theory, I'll do fine with a MIDI file.

PM me, Phobix/Aurana.

You mean the lower end of the 2 isn't coming through correctly? Or is it something else in my production? Let me know what I you would recommend to do to fix the issue, would love any information I can get. Currently mixing with Sony MDR-V500 head phones, and my monitor set up (M-Audio AV40's) isnt fantastic. So I have a hard time monitoring at the moment. I just do the best with what I have right now.
