They also make ladies drop their panties. It's a very multi-purpose suite of plugins.

I have a UAD Quad with EVERY SINGLE PLUGIN. That makes me the most Pr0.

I had the UAD when it first came out in like 2001 or 20002. I had 2 of those and 2 powercores. Ended up selling them as I didn't particularly find them that essential and the latency really bothered me. I kept the powercores longer as they had alot of great reverbs VSS3, the MAstering Suite , the VIntage reverb which were ported directly from the M5000 unity.

Well for those who have, just wondering what plug ins you guys use the most. The UAD forum is filled with non-electronic posters so I have to take what they say with a grain of salt.

I have the following:
Neve 88RS
Neve 33609
Empirical Labs FATSO
Pultec Pro
Roland D Dimension
+ all included stuff (Love the EX-1 VCA style compressor)

I hear the Harrison is very good for EDM, but at $250 thats too much. Definately wanting the cambridge for surgical work. I cried like a girl when that demo ran out.

The "word" has it that UAD is developing a VCC, kinda like digital slate, but much better. Will be very interesting if they are and how it will turn out. From what I understand, people will be able to build their own mixing consoles using the various UAD plug-ins to create a VCC environment that lets you "mix in analog"

I've really been into the Trident A Range lately. A really nice character EQ for basslines.

I also LOVE what the 1073 does to low frequencies. I put that baby on all my basslines and kicks. It's amazing.

VCA VU is amazing for percs because it has such an incredibly fast attack.

LA2A adds a nice snap to anything.
