Anyone else use these monitors for producing? Im wondering what settings do you put at the back of the speaker to get a flat EQ setting? There is a button for Bass density and then 3 other buttons for EQing but I dont know what settings to put it at for a flat EQ line. I notice i keep producing dull mixes so I'm guessing the EQ is set higher than it should be in the high frequency range therefore I'm actually producing a low high end mix..

I know some one is just going to say use your ears and set the settings but its not that easy because I'm struggling to hear what the buttons are actually doing to the sound. Some settings make some low end come into the high frequency tweeters.

Hopefully someone else uses these and can help

Well I'd seriously avoid that setting.

Low frequencies going to the tweeter will kill it faster than .

Dude, it's all in the manual (I know I used to do tech support for them).

Oh it. Here you go.

The reason you may be getting dull mixes is that they could be too bright or your listening position isn't right.

having said that they're not the greatest monitors in the world so you may just be outgrowing them
