Ordered a signed limited edition... definitely looking forward to it! Digweed was easily the highest point of Electric Zoo a few weeks ago.

I'm just kidding sick of Digweed keep releasing these CDs that (for me) are pretty throwaway. I've bought Bedrock 10, Bedrock 11, and whatever the yellow one is now. I can't even think of it's name. Structures or signals or something. I listen to the first disc of Bedrock 10 occasionally but the others are just all kinda bleh.

Going to be sitting this one out, at least for now. I don't need a signed limited edition.

I'm surprised you've been buying the previous ones. I got Bedrock 10 on the cheap in a clear-out sale and I've not played it since. Bedrock Records has nothing to offer.

To be honest, so am I.

I've listened to the first disc of Bedrock 10 maybe 10 times. The second disc and both discs of Bedrock 11 have got 1 listen each. I got halfway through the first disc of the yellow one and then stopped and didn't even try the second one.

I think I'm done with them, sadly.

It's just all incredibly boring music.

So incredibly boring :(

Agreed. Structures was ok, but the others were pretty meh TBH. I know they are The label's releases, but that tell you that the remixes are meh, or the music he is signing is meh, either way, I will exercise caution and read reviews before I think about purchasing this one.
coroknight
I disagree about this one.
10 was great imo
11 and structures were alright. The tracks didn't have as much lasting appeal as the 10 ones.

I haven't bought 12 yet but I love the previews so far. It seems like bedrock isn't afraid of releasing tracks with an actual melody like they have for the past year or so (with the exception of the Quivver EP which was just amazing).

I think my biggest problem with structures was that most of the tracks were let downs. Like they'd start of with something cool making me think "alright this song has potential to be awesome" but then some of the tracks would drop off half way through (pete heller remix), or they just wouldn't go beyond what was established in the beginning.

Edit: Also, don't get me wrong, i'm a huge digweed fan, but wtf was he thinking with the live mix on structures? He picked the two lamest maetrik tracks to feature. Really? Purr Baby, and Herb House are soooo lame, they are just simple beats with lame vocal stabs on top. Maetrik has done so much better imo. Plus, that nic fanciulli remix is just aweful

I thought Bedrock 10 was really good, some tracks that i really enjoyed like Tom Middletons remix of Forge and the Estroe remix of Imagine, thought it was mixed well

But since that ive not really liked too much stuff on Bedrock.....Satellite, Purr Baby, Jardin Nights were pretty good, Bedrock 11 i bought and listened to twice maybe, wasnt impressed by most of the tracks on Structures and now Bedrock 12 which i havent listened to yet but dont hold out much hope of it being any good

Whats worse is that Digweed is really really pushing the Bedrock stuff, cant remember so much stuff coming out on Bedrock as recently, its definitely now got to a stage where its quantity over quality.....

LoveHate
like the lovebirds track

and its kinda weird seeing him on a digweed comp..

Yea, there are some good tracks in here and IMO it'd be a shame to pass up the compilation completely. Wiretappeur track is very solid of course, Sistema is nice, and I also like the Alan Fitzpatrick and the Digweed & Muir track as well. The Christian Smith one is surprisingly good too.
