I don't know about the others, but I compliment men and women equally. I just give credit where credit is due, regardless of gender.. If I like something, I will say it. *shrug*
But girls are generally superficial and they like anything glossy and shiny and chic, and they know it takes time and effort to make oneself look hot. They probably do it to seduce each other, not necessarily to seduce men.. So they will pat each other on the back when they do a good job at it.

I don't know. I am a girl.. I do it all the time. If someone has a cute outfit - especially in NYC - i go and tell them. Cute top/dress etc..
Everytime I wear these shoes in NY random ppl always compliment me while walking down the street. Then I tell them what a steal they were and they don't believe me. Under 20$ ftw!
Hell, even if I smell a random dude who smells yummy I ask him what cologne is he wearing. |

I always do, I mean why not? If they're hott or their hairstyle is cute or I like their shoes I tell them. I'm not hung up on myself that I can't pay another woman a compliment. |
