Hey TA's,
Just wanted to share something special with all of you. I wanted to post this a while ago but the summer has been so busy that I never got a chance to sit down and do it. Why now then? Well because I'm finally takin' a break from work to have some fun at Labour of Love with my wife. That sounds like an odd reason for posting this but it's connected to hearing Above & Beyond play Good For Me, which was our first dance song at our wedding on June 26, 2010. So tonight my lady is coming out of "Party Retirement" to end off our wedding summer where it all started... on the dancefloor.
The first night we met was in October 2001 at a friends birthday that brought us dancing to Tiesto. It was the start of 9 years of memories together that has always had Trance playing in the background. So it just seemed fitting for us to put together an album of our favourite tracks to let our wedding guests in on our dancing history. Not all our favourites made the cut due to content but our favourite, cheesy, love anthems sure did. Our wedding was filled with Trance tracks that really caught our guests off guard. Though they loved "Good For Me" Album Version during our ceremony and the Club Version for our first dance.
Many many thanks to the ones that worked so hard to put this album together. Jeff (aka. thendless) did the mixing & editing, and dj'd our wedding. Jack (aka. mc yang) designed the album art and mc'd our wedding. All our friends & family that spent days burning, printing, and assembling the albums for our guests. The artists that wrote all these amazing songs ...and most importantly, my baby. Who's loving heart has etched memories in my mind that will always be resurected with the sound of music.
