lets just hope my camera stays repaired so i can get the footage. i mean im bringing a backup camera this time but i dunno how the sound quality is on it. never used it before for this purpose. and it cost half the price of the badass one. :/ so i guess we'll just have to wait and see.

wow was that ever disappointing...
got to mansion a little late at like 1am and was a little worried about getting in but got in really quick. we had will call so it was really smooth. it ended up being $25 at the door and i saw on fb one of the promoters had a free guestlist. regardless we bought our tickets a few weeks ago so none of that applied. kinda sucks we paid when we coulda got in for free but im not gonna bitch and moan about it. not the first time this happens anyway.
anyway, so inside it was pretty packed. 90% out of towners though. goes to show what the locals think of mansion huh? first thing i noticed was NO ING LED SCREENS!!! ugh. so pissed about that. guess it was only for labor day weekend. :(
umek came on at like 1:45 and instantly the energy the opener (who besides some diva house tracks actually did pretty awesome) had created, died. i figured okay whatever hes just getting started. yea like an hour and nothing changed. nothing like what i saw umek drop earlier this year or in recent sets. just totally uninterested. the crowd wasnt moving at all and by 2:30 it was already clearing out. umek did have some nice drops. but 6 minutes of nothing happening for a 30 second drop just got a little boring. i think we stayed for another 30 mins and then just went home. sleep just became a better option.
kinda sucks. i know he has the skills but last night he didnt showcase them at all.
