My response: "lets start with the fact that restaurants have to be on the ground floor. No more roof patios or back patios. Thats a pretty big deal in whats supposed to be a city!"

Dont let the door hit your arrogant ass on the way out dave! It is crucial for everyone to make an informed vote this october!! This city is at a crossroads.

idiot troll Rob Ford will probably get voted in and then Toronto will regress a few decades...luckily I won't be part of the mess Ford will put Toronto in.

It's like making a sideshow the main act lol

he can do a lot worse. You can disagree with Miller spending money on infrastructure, but Rob Ford has no plan, he is a sideshow at most. He has no vision, no plan and no leadership qualities whatsoever.

He has been a troll, try to have a troll lead you and you will get nowhere. You can't have a person like Ford who has ZERO understanding of how anything works except in his little world in his head and expect him to be able to lead the city.

No kidding. Maybe he'll take us back to the days when they were actually expanding subways and highways, before rent control and subsidized housing ghettos appeared everywhere and around the time when commercial expansion was actually being encouraged and people weren't trying to turn the downtown core into a bedroom community.

I doubt we'll be that lucky though. Part of the problem is, no one with good ideas would actually want to run for mayor of Toronto with the kind of city council they have right now.

lol this hits the nail on the head. any person with good mayoral qualities and ideas would look at this city and laugh at the idea of running for mayor. the city is such a mess from top to bottom that you'd really have to have balls of steel to want to get into this show.
