We'll see! |
IMO cut it off or cut it down, either one is truly a personal choice but to have more decent DJs regularly lay it down on a fixed system in town to me is another plus whether in a smaller or bigger room. I'ts all down to SQ. footage and proper sound.
I'll love to be there if I'm in town. |

They're not really new, they're just getting more recognition for what they're doing in NYC. They've been doing their parties for over 4 years, and I have yet to go to one that wasn't pretty full. They're still keeping hundreds of people out until well after dawn every time they throw something. The last one got shut down at 11:30 after going for over 12 hours, and there was still a decent sized crowd for that time of day.
Oh, and re: $35...I think it was that much when Sasha played in a warehouse in Brooklyn last year (or close). Their Halloween party last year was super expensive at the door from what I heard, and BPitch this past weekend had cheaper presales (mine were $20), but some of my friend paid $40 at the door. |

And it's Sasha, not some underground DJ you haven't heard before. $40 is well worth it IMO
I've been getting into techno scene this past year and really want to check out one of these RSVP parties soon. |

If you didn't RSVP for the Scuba party it was $75, but that was because the place was basically sold out. |

Most of the DJs that they book are fairly well known amongst their target circles. And it is underground, that's what they do. |

Well if you don't RSVP it's their fault. The people you don't want there anyway are the people who don't RSVP |
