the beginning sounds promising, but the saw pad and the pluck don't fit at all
Mr.Mystery
The beat needs to go, right now it sounds like sampled off an eighties hard rock track - completely lacks punch. Percs are almost completely nonexistent.
The whole track sounds like the high-end was completely cut off, almost to the point where it sounds like something coming muffled through a door from the other room.
The opening chord progression is nice but the synths introduced later are out of key and clashing badly.

thanks for the tips, i guess i got a little overexited once i registered at soundcloud.
Mr.Mystery
I can tell you right now it's a lot better than my first effort!
Producing takes a lot of practice, practice, practice - just like (almost) everything else in life.
just a one minute sample, I have punched the kick and it is noticeable in the graph. I shifted the synths higher, changed and lengthened progressions, added percs as well. Am I heading in the right direction?
ps mr mystery, this is actually my 15th project or so, i was just always fiddling with ableton session view and never made the leap to arrangement.

get some better sounding sample kit's, the drums are pretty much the only thing that's horrible with this track so far.
