its like $3 cover, no restricitions, the live band is not the best but it will do, good enviorment in general......

on the curb isn't bad either, theres a dress code and cover......

avoid croc rock like your life depended on it lol

my apartment is , way to many douche bags.....i've been in a fight every time i go......

lol at West 49. Its West 50!!! They have a LOAD of beer on tap. I was there last weekend and they had a DJ spinning with a live band that came on after that. Dont go to My apartment like italianpoison said. I always get people trying to fight me there too. Crock Rock is a couger bar. All the spots you might want to hit up are in the SQ1 surrounding area.

Good choice on Earls :)

on the curve...not curb...heh

avoid croc rock as it has changed considerably from being what the downtown TO one is - a cougar bar - to a "hey look at me, I can finally drink" bar

But no matter what, sad thing is that Failte IS the ultimate place to have fun with no dress code and with a decent crowd.

Earl's is a sit down venue and if you want to sit down..meh.

Anything there?

Going to be there this Saturday night more than likely, can't come into the city and rave it up or anything, so stuck in that area... visiting some family/friends.

Don't want to be driving, so something easy on the cabs and whatnot...

Looking for something decent to do at night in the area...group of 4 to 8 people, ages between 22 and 32, guys, girls, couples, etc...

I think Earls for dinner and drinks was already mentioned, but looking for something after, with some life, music, dancing etc... but not super cheesy or anything. I'm not expecting techno or EDM (although wouldn't mind). With the group i'm with, top 40, dance, radio or whatever is fine by me.

Suggestions?

Thanks! :)

I think I'm the only TA that lives right beside Square one (Burnhamthorpe/Living Arts Drive).

Earls is a mature setting at Square one, great for drinks and food!

During the day on Saturday I am going down to Port Credit for the Jazz/Blues Festival called Southside Shuffle. I heard good things about this event from my VP at work.

Saturday evening I don't have any plans but I wouldn't mind an invite to come have a drink with you and your friends. I enjoy Failte Irish Pub or Fox & Fiddle to chill. I don't go out a lot in Mississauga unless for a few pub beers.

Message me on BBM if you want to know anything else.

I actually work at West 50 and yeah, we're bumpin' on Friday and Saturday nights.

We have 109 different beers on tap, great food, and some pretty good-looking staff too.

Music is your general top-40 affair, our DJ DOES enjoy house and will drop a few of his personal favourites throughout the night. And there's a live band that'll either be "decent" (Orange Band, Overdrive, Sonic Playground) or "absolutely horrible" (everyone else).

Crowd is a mixed bag of people, usually low 20's to early 30's, and mixed racial demographic as well.

Also, our security team is pretty easy to deal with if you're not a complete jack ass.
