Infected Mushroom released CD2 of their album 'Converting Vegetarians' as an experimental album exploring various musical styles. Could someone tell me what style of music does each song represent?
I am especially interested in the songs "Ballerium" and "Shakawkaw".... |

| The first CD is straight psytrance. The second CD is just as they say, experimental. I'd call most of that CD (specifically the two tracks you mentioned) some kind of psystep/psybreaks/psychill hybrid. Of all the total garbage that Infected Mushroom has made, the second CD of Converting Vegetarians is actually pretty cool. |

Thank you for the informative answer. But what about songs like "Blink" and "Drop out"? They are probably a different style...
Additionally, do you know any artists or tracks that resemble the song "Ballerium"? I am generally into goa/psy-trance, but Ballerium has caught my attention as something different, unique, and good. |

These are both psychill. Much like Elation Station (my favorite on this album).

It's got kind of a darker psychill feel, but also a slight psydub structure.
I think you should check out my sets Universal Logic and Broken Signal to feel out some more soundscapes. I would recommend all the artists I play.
