Or was it the two gay sailors? |

Carl Cox and Fedde at Pepsi or Steve Lawler at Stereo...... decisions decisions.
I went to Steve Lawler back in June at Stereo and I thought it was a great set but was just dissappointed that it was only 4 hours. And I've been wanting to see Carl Cox forever. I might just go with the flow and see what my usual suspect of people want to go to.
This just ruins my plans to take a mini retirement from the scene for a bit. |
same question for me... I will go to Mtl with my gf this weekend, and no idea where to show up on friday. With a litle preference for Stereo!
I saw lawler last time in guv, and skybar sunrise set, it was sick...
Carl cox back in the days in space, and I dont like so much his actual sets.. fedde and garraud, many times, great sets and good djs for sur, but not so much my kind of music anymore.
Last thing, pepsi venue looks good, how about the sound system there for their last party? I hope stereo will be packed if I go there... because of this pepsi event. |

Pepsi event is actually eight hours due to noise restrictions (adjacent movie theatre) and since you're with your gf chix won't matter (Pepsi will have more). Sound is better at Stereo but surprisingly good at Pepsi, imo.
As for beats, it's a toss up, imo, unless deadmouth is booked :p |

Pepsi Forum is alright not the best sound, but then again it depends on how well it is set up. However the downfall is that it is a theatre, mall mix, and because of the theatre the last movie of the day usually ends at 12 or 12:30 so the sound is kept low until then, which is a huge downfall. And because of when Pepsi Forum opens for business, the party will be done by 10am give or take. I can't remember exact ending time. So you possibly only have a 9 to 10 hour event.
Stereo has a great sound system, great crowd, and the party doesn't end until noon. However some guys get turned off from Stereo by the gay crowd and the fact that it is mostly populated by guys, both gay and straight.
I don't think either are bad choices it will more just depend on what sort of atmosphere and music you are in the mood for. |

What is up with the "no age limit" for this party?
Hmmm.....Don't think that is a good idea. |

Seriously? Sounds like BeB/PP is pulling a BeB/PP again :p
probably no booze at this event as well. Correct me if I am wrong here. |

| There is booze being sold here which makes it kind of messed up. They gonna be wasting time asking for ID's..LOL |

come on guys, why would any producer throw an event and not sell booze? :p :p
lets not turn this into a steve lawler vs maskerade thing
just go to both ;) |
