I'm looking for some really deep and funky, soulful house, like Kings of Tomorrow - Finally and Cosmos - Take Me With You
Anybody recommend anything? |

Check out Francois K's Deep&Sexy CD. Released on Wave Music. Really awesome summer cd.. not commercial at all. It's the kinda CD you can pull out in 10 years time and it'll still sound modernistic.

Try these CD's for a start:
Terry's Cafe vol. 5 - mixed by Terry Lee Brown jr.
Soma 10 Anthology (including Slam - Lifetimes)
Jaimy & Kenny D - Is there any other way
Also the Fabric CD's are getting pretty housey... but really good ! |

If you are looking for deep soulful house look at ANYTHING from the Naked Music label. Especially Miguel Migs/Petalpusher Gabriel Rene and Blue Six. I have 2 friends who's life revolves around deep house. But if you're into Kings of Tommorow it might not exactly be your style.
Try anything from Defected like Phunkie Souls, Tha Music or try the Nite Grooves label. Some of their stuff is really good. Their Ananda Project stuff is good (one of their tracks is on the Everything But The Girl Back to Mine).
Try Subliminal Soul (I'm pretty sure it's a subsidiary of Subliminal), I have a couple of their tracks and they are good.
If you do like Francois K look at the NRK label. He puts a bit of stuff out on that (Miguel Migs also does some stuff on that)
If you want mainstream deep house try Blue Six-Music and Wine. |

I agree, go for Naked Music, they are huge in that department of electronica. Also check out OM Records.
For DJs to look out for, go look for stuff from Mark Farina, David Harness, Miguel Migs, and Doc Martin.. In San Francisco, deep/soulful house is huge. In fact, Mark Farina is from San Francisco. |

perhaps like :
