Kay-D and Mistique music delivers to us a beautiful release here starting out with his original mix. Its driving yet sustains a beautiful sound-scape and atmosphere. Everything to expect from this wonderful artist, this mix really moves you.
I am really liking The Stain's remix, its more of a reserved chilled out progressive house number. All the elements flow wonderfully, Its executed very well, with just the right amount of stabs and atmosphere.
Shane provides us with a great bassline sequence and groove. Really is an awesome track; again, a very good and different vibe delivered from the rest of the remixes in addition to great sustenance of pads. its hard for me to keep commenting because of the overall quality of every remix delivered from mistique but I will keep trying!
Its hard to pick out a favorite in this release, because it can potentially be any of the tracks listed. However personally, im pretty in love with Tommy Dee's remix. The bold bass-line with a lot of strength really sets the tone. The breakdowns really move me, some of the atmospheric elements in this track sound very fresh. another track to look at for sure.
Moving onto the Deep Shepard remix; It is really a good progression for this EP when listened in sequence. Fresh glitching, and modulation really sets this one apart. There is something, sad and dark about this track, that i cant really put my finger on at the moment, i very much enjoyed the story.
Lastly, the Mehmat Akar remix bring us some unique flavour with a soulful guitar in combination to the progressive lush atmosphere. A little more energy in this track which is never a bad thing. Its just a great blend overall with personal flavour. This track is really a great ending to this EP.
Overall, This EP with remixes i feel should really be heard all together, because they provide such wonderful journeys of sound and space.
Reviewed by MSZ, hope you enjoy the release.

| Mistique appear to have taken me off their promo list. Haven't had anything from them since MIST073. Damnit. |
