The fifth release on Silk Music's deeper 'Textures' imprint features returning contributor Tive with "Rescue George." This four-track pack includes the lush " Intro Mix" a well-suited opener to not only the release, but also any DJ's latest deep or progressive house mix. The groove kicks in immediately on the "Original Mix," as a shuffly rhythm and gorgeous pad sweeps submerge the track into cavernous terrain.

Silk veteran Luiz B, who has recently been championed by Matt Darey on his Nocturnal imprint, stays fairly true to the original in terms of melody and overall feel. Yet, he also re-samples a lot of the original effects to glorious effect, especially in the more lively latter half of the tune.

Daniel Mahuad, another familiar face on various Silk divisions, has been receiving top support of late on Solarstone's acclaimed "Solaris International" radio show. His mix has a more open, "classic" progressive quality, with a driving low-end and a newly added lead arpeggio.
