I agree the scariest parts are when he has to transition another section and each getting increasingly thinner until he's scaling a bean pole.
They must recruit rock climbers because I can't imagine "normal" people being able to pull this off.
As bad as the climb up, I'd imagine going down must be harder because you have to look down and it be easy to mess up your footing or get tangled with that rope and bag. |

| The thing that makes my feel uneasy about watching that is when they hook onto those rungs towards the top of the tower that look like big nails that have been hammered in, and then start leaning backwards without holding on. What if the hook slipped outwards and then over the top of the metal? It doesn't appear to be any bigger than an inch or two. Crazy. |

I shouted the same thing at the screen. haha
This would make the best climb though! The crux is at the top, and while it is "easy" holds the view would make it well worth the time. I wouldn't want to climb under someone like that guys friend was. A man is likely to piss himself the first time he looks down and while the narrator did briefly mention the importance of getting down before a storm hits, golden showers are unpredictable at best. |

| I watched it on fullscreen and was like leaning into the screen, and at the last part where he is climbing on top of the antenna I ing started reaching out into space around me like trying to grab on to something to keep steady... |

i hate heights.
i can remember visiting the CN tower, and getting crazy vertigo by stepping onto the see through glass floor and looking down.
i don't know how people do that ride that is on the top. |

i did that ride at the top of the Stratosphere tower in vegas...that was pretty cool; but i was fully strapped in and rode an elevator to the top lol.
i love heights, and the adrenaline rush you get over thrill rides and roller coasters, skyscrapers....but all that is strapped in or there are walls around you,etc...
but that radio tower....daaaaaaaang |
