You sure know how to make a point in a clear and concise way.

MTL's EDM scene is THE trouble - PP ain't the trouble - Last years attendances decreased of 30% Everywhere > Everyone is suffering, only small cosy/chill places + bumpy/innovative concepts&events are making dinero[$] at the moment in Mtl i.e Mac Bar, Igloo Fest, Piknik, BBDC77 show, etc..

too much money, too much Armin for starters
Marcus007
marko is correct

the scene is going through a transformation
IL Duce
i'm going to ask you to elaborate max:p
Marcus007
gladly :D

events and club nights are making way more money than before

places like velvet/un/daome/ohm/ give people an alternative to the big clubs and they seem to be sticking to it

and like marko said funky events like piknic/loft parties/igloo fest are changing the game and offering the public alternative to big shows... a great example of this would be sensation at terrasse vs. close to 4000 at piknic the same day

IL Duce
i agree with you, but it is hardly a new thing...history always repeats itself.

if you don't have a product that people_like, it is normal for customers to go places that cater to their tastes. It isn't the small clubs stealing business from the big ones, as much as the big ones not adapting and sticking to the status quo.

and who wants to pay $50-60 at Terrasses when you can do Piknic for fraction of the price.

DJs are overcharging and "those guys" keep booking the same overpriced djs.. double negative whammy, same djs and too much money.

Re big events, they take the house aspect for granted too but then again at BeB the trance side, with a superstar-laiden lineup was empty at the end whereas the house side was still packed.

Marcus should just say that there's too many retards working for PP/BeB :p

They do well with two events but maybe they are too complacent/near-sighted with the success in regards to the other events??

Anyways, it should be interesting to see how the BBCM/Circus guys do with Black and Blue too. I hope they do well, at least I only paid $68 for that ticket.
