ID - 90s Trance Melody from Dubstep Track

Hi,
Been a fan of electronic music since the mid 90s. I recently came across a song (Kza - Collabs) that contains a melody from a late 90s track, but for the life of me, I can't remember what the track is.
The 15 second clip from the song that contains nothing but the melody in question, just dubbified, since it's a different genre of electronic music.

Does your clip directly sample the late 90's song in question, or does the dubstep remixing sound much different from the original? This sounds very similar to a part of a song I know, but the version I have sounds much more "round" and it's maybe a fifth lower. It's sort of a common sound though.
Do you remember anything else about the song? |

@Coaxial - that's fine. This is a bit dubbified, since the genre is different, but the general melody is there.
You're not thinking of Li Kwan - Point Zero, are you? |
