I'm flattered (and slightly frightened) you've studied my posts so much but I'm pretty sure I've only ever said one of those things.
It was only a friendly reminder anyway but there always seems to be someone who just has to make it a big deal. |

I like that and follow its teachings often. Not only in my own posts, but in evaluating others. Flames are given when needed, but other times, such as this thread, it's fine. |

| you know that piano could easily be fixed by adding minor 7ths , some major seconds. Your chord voicing right now sounds so bad. I could fix that for you in less than 10 minutes. |

well sure you like it but if you heard it done properly , you would be pleasantly surprised how your piano as it is , can actually sound good by altering a few notes. A few people have commented on it and the reason is your chord voicing. You would also learn how to use 7ths and 9ths so that when you try something similar, you don't sound like someone that is trying but failing to use a style of chord progression.
It really is the element that makes your track still sound like it was made by a noob. Almost makes you think producers these days need producer's themselves to just take it to that next level. |
