SUPERFREQ
Well hello there you lovely Freqs,
Summer was short lived but that’s good as we can now all get dressed up when we go out at night to shake a leg. We hope it’s not too chilly for you Angelinos?
Thank you all for coming to the last edition of Superfreq at Bardot last month where you all looked wonderful & your energy levels went though the roof.
Our very special guests Mikael Stavöstrand & Maayan Nidam were more than ample replacement for the missing Mr.C who was busy freqin in London as they whole heartedly, smashed it to bits along side residents Xo-Chic & Biiba Scuba.
The September edition of Superfreq at the wonderful Bardot is now less than 2 weeks away & we’ve pulled out all the stops to make this another memorable after hours. Firstly, after touring Europe for a month, losing his mind at Burning Man & finding it again somewhere in the cosmos between then & now, Mr.C is back with a new bunch of vinyl to take you into the night making you grin from ear to ear. He will of course be joined by Biiba Scuba, which as you must know by now can only mean trouble. The gorgeous Xo-Chic will be away touring in Mexico but do not despair, The powers that be at Superfreq tower have gone & landed DJ Garth from Grayhound Records / Wicked etc San Francisco as a top drawer replacement. You may or may not have heard but Garth has just made the move from the Bay Area south to join us in our wonderful city so where better to show him a proper LA welcome that Superfreq?
Garth is a regular annual special guest at Superfreq London so we felt it only right to make him a guest here in LA too.
Of course as usual, the night runs from 2am until you can’t handle it anymore & each month you manage to hold out just that little bit longer, well done. Mr.C reckons that when you motley crew eventually manage to make us keep our doors open until 10am, the drinks are on him. Remember, the bar reopens at 6am so we can get proper mullered well into the wee hours of the morning.
This coming Superfreq, we’re told there’s some pretty special modern disco action going on before us in Bardot so it may well be worth you getting there a little earlier than usual as it will be a smooth transition into Superfreq where Garth will continue the modern disco madness before the residents get let loose on the wheels of steel.
With that all said mark Superfreq LA into your diaries on September 24th as an event ‘not to be missed’ & we look forward to seeing you in silly hats, scary masks & ridiculous wigs & infectious smiles on your faces.
