To some degree, stupidity will always be entertaining. What's vexing is how much stupidity is rewarded for its own sake. I ponder what would happen if the spot-light were removed from the Tom Green inspired mooks, Jerry Springer white-trash, and over-paid Jersey muscle-heads, just for a year. Would the world be better off or does society need some scapegoat whose self-inflicted opprobrium seems to be an occupation; who therefor allows us to take comfort in the fact that we are not them. |

I can't fault your reasoning nor do I think it's a problem which, in any way, can be legislated out of existence. I look at it as more of a symptom than anything else. |

| Generally, I avoid reality TV, but for some reason I like to watch the show. Maybe because I grew up in an Italian neighborhood of Brooklyn, and I know these type of people. Maybe I like watching people get wasted, do stupid things, random hookups, fights, and talk massive amounts of . The only slow parts are the emo scenes between Sammy and Ronnie. ZZZzZZzZzZzZzzz! |
