Good game between the Rangers and Devils tonight too. Pretty excited for this season.

Yeah we just need his word that he wants to play and we're good to go.

Flyers/Leafs game was great with 11 rounds in the shootout..

Ok I need you three to answer the following questions for me, then we're officially set.

1) What time would work good for the draft?

Since it's only four of us, we should be able to reach a time that'll work for all of us. Exclude this weekend due to the Pacha event. Anytime next week at night would work for me.

2) Here is what I propose we draft:

3 Centers
3 Right Wingers
3 Left Wingers
4 Defensemen
4 Bench
1 Injured Reserve
2 Goaltenders
21 players total.

Do you agree with that roster composition? Any disagreements?

3) Here are stat categories I propose we use from the available offerings (bolded):

Forwards/Defensemen

o Goals
o Assists
o Points
o Plus/Minus
o Penalty Minutes
o Powerplay Goals
o Powerplay Assists
o Powerplay Points
o Shorthanded Goals
o Shorthanded Assists
o Shorthanded Points
o Game-Winning Goals
o Shots on Goal
o Shooting Percentage
o Faceoffs Won
o Faceoffs Lost
o Hits
o Blocks

Goaltenders

o Games Started
o Wins
o Losses
o Goals Against
o Goals Against Average
o Shots Against
o Saves
o Save Percentage
o Shutouts

Do you agree with those choices? Anyone want to make a case for something not selected to be included?

In a nutshell, how the scoring works in fantasy hockey:

- Whenever one of your starting players records a goal, hit, assist, save, etc., you get one point in that category. At the end of the week, whoever gets the most points in each category wins that stat. The amount of stats won is then used to determine the winner of the matchup that week.

- Example: Let's say we're counting only goals, assists, saves, shutouts, and hits. I end up finishing the week with more goals, assists, and saves, but you beat me in shutouts in hits. I end up winning the matchup 3-2.

4) Players who don't get drafted get placed into the waiver pool. Throughout the season, you can drop any player on your team to pick up a guy in the waiver pool.

Do you want to have a limit on the amount of waiver moves you can make (more strategy), or make it an unlimited amount?

Ill be pretty drained this weekend, but other than that, any day of the week usually works for me. Best between 6-9pm but im pretty flexible.

You can play, but I would really like a 6th person to join in so everyone can get an opponent to play each week instead of rolling with a bye week.

The reason I posted this in the NYTA forum is because this site is so huge...I want to play with people that know each other...not just a bunch of random guys.

What about the other three questions? No qualms with any of them?

I'm really up on how this fantasy shin dig works, so ill trust your judgement with those other 2.

Your gonna have to show me the ropes but im all for it.

PS: What did you think of Boogaard yesterday?

I only saw the first period and a little of the second before I had to run off to a meeting.

He looked slow, old, and kinda boring.

I think he's got real good defense. He is huge though at like 6'8 and around 270 pounds I think.
