Back on topic, I think if you're going to go dirty, pick dirty sounds or make them dirty with distortion, feedback, tight or gritty delay, desk mash them, etc, but engineer them clean.

That means keep those dirty sounds in their own freq range, take away offending frequencies and accentuate the timbre that give them that dirt and mix them so have clear separation.

from a purely medical standpoint , per dosage,

alcohol is the absolute worse drug you can take. Pharmaceutical heroin being the best. There are absolutely no side effects save addiction which if you have access will not cause a problem. My sister administer's cancer patients doses of morphine that would kill the average person. The second least damaging drug I suppose regarding popularity would be GHB. Again completely benign but it has such a bad reputation because of retards that mix it with alcohol. The worst drugs are as I mentioned alcohol and uppers that put your body in a state of shock. So there you have it. Be safe. Chose life. Chose heroin. The problem comes when you don't have access to good clean drugs which is pretty much everyone.

Alcohol, unlike any other drug is a poison. Those myths about it being good for you are only around because people are so high strung in NA that had they not imbibed alcohol, they would have a heart attack. It thins the blood but this is only a healthy thing if you are already unhealthy.

This doesn't include the other mediating factor of addiction which wouldn't be a problem except that we live in a world where drugs are not legal. People die and get sick from heroin because it is illegal and they have no idea what they are doing.

I prefer a nice tea and champagne tho. The problem with morphine is that it makes you lazy as everything is fine. If you have goals you want to achieve, opiates probably aren't for you. This is more a social factor than health one. My sister knew a famous heart surgeon that had been using morphine for 20 years. He would inject himself in the operating room. He had no side effects and lived a completely healthy lifestyle. His story is different as he had access to clean drugs and knew how to administer them.

Using foreign chemicals is like over-clocking your computer. If you don't know what you are doing, which is most people, expect your system to crash.

So , like who produces and .

"Load of rubbish"?

I would love to see you challenge one thing he said. When I think someone is talking bs I usually don't tell them that, cause it only shows that you have an opinion, not that you actually know more.

I could personally give 2 s that people know I have an opinion, I'd prefer they knew that I had a brain.

Great. Go me.

I will therefore think 2-3 times before posting any personal beliefs into this forum, because;

a) I can't express myself in a way it didn't always hurt someone's pretty little feelings
b) I'm usually drunk when expressing myself here, which will always lead to something not good
c) I'm an idiot (also) when drunk, which ultimately proves something about alcohol, but mostly me (I still think I don't need to start smoking marijuana every weekend to have fun, alcohol to me isn't that a "depressing high")

This thread has been pure win from page 3 I still do think.

Yo, you should come to Oslo, many drugs, norwegian ghetto and .
nortek

Oh here's a special gem for you:

Seriously? Really? me dead

*cue M4B with the "Oooh I was just joking/trolling, who the do you think you are, I'm considered the Earths greatest living musician you jerkoff"

Mad for Brad
show me a peer reviewed medical journal that shows otherwise. Why is alcohol the only drug that destroys your liver , the mechanism for cleaning your body of toxins. I am clearly not joking. It is the worst for your body, it is the worst drug by far when you look at all the damage it does in society. These are facts. Not my opinion. And I was clearly talking about per dosage. All other things being equal, alcohol is the worst mainstream drug on the planet. Tastes damn fine tho.

You don't have to take my word. Go google each of the chemicals names, and look at how they interact with your body.Alcohol is the only one that is a straight up poison. I don't see why it is that hard to understand, I'm not advocating taking anything, I just think most people like yourselves have absolutely no idea how drugs work and how they interact with your body. In fact Alcohol is the only drug that has no medical use. Heroin, methamphetamine and even cocaine are available in pharmaceutical versions. I suppose they do use pure ethanol in medical wipes but that is clearly not meant to be inside your body.

Alcohol is good for you in moderation. This is from a meta-analysis:
quote:
Results A J-shaped relationship between alcohol and total mortality was confirmed in adjusted studies, in both men and women. Consumption of alcohol, up to 4 drinks per day in men and 2 drinks per day in women, was inversely associated with total mortality, maximum protection being 18% in women (99% confidence interval, 13%-22%) and 17% in men (99% confidence interval, 15%-19%). Higher doses of alcohol were associated with increased mortality. The inverse association in women disappeared at doses lower than in men. When adjusted and unadjusted data were compared, the maximum protection was only reduced from 19% to 16%. The degree of association in men was lower in the United States than in Europe.

Conclusions Low levels of alcohol intake (1-2 drinks per day for women and 2-4 drinks per day for men) are inversely associated with total mortality in both men and women. Our findings, while confirming the hazards of excess drinking, indicate potential windows of alcohol intake that may confer a net beneficial effect of moderate drinking, at least in terms of survival.

http://archinte.ama-assn.org/cgi/co...ull/166/22/2437

But the trouble with "recommending" moderate alcohol consumption is that for many people moderation is difficult, so they become alcoholics, which is far worse than not drinking at all.
