Both tunes quite excellent.
I prefer the darker ambience of the original, but the extra energy in the remix. I think the pictures do a nice job of visually explaining the difference in the tracks as well. (not sure if that was intended, but the remix definitely is not as dark)
It's also awesome how the tracks are subtly different...but in a way that makes them a drastically different experience.
