I love sushi too. I'll agree not calling it "comfort food" but I do feel awesome after eating it.

It's truly one of the most enjoyable things I've ever eaten. Sensuous. Ritualistic. Delicious!

:stongue:

I had an Asian Data Structures professor who wasn't very good at English. He would call the stack, the "steak". The first day of "crass" he told us that we were going to be "going over the syrrabus and rearning C prus prus."

In before toning down the racism.

Ever made your own sushi? It's ing hard. It tasted okay with the exception of the rice being a bit crunchy:

That's why you gotta leave it to the pros:

Bahaha yeah I would definitely never attempt to make my own. Doesn't it take 4 years just to learn how to make the rice properly??

oooh, crunchy sushi rice is fail. did you use the right kind?

i dunno, my girlfriend usually makes the korean version of sushi rolls called "kimbap" that isn't as good, but still tasty. the rolls are probably twice or three times the thickness of your typical sushi roll too because of all the we put in the middle of em.

nooooooo.... you can do it right the first time. check out recipes online. there IS a method to it that's different than just cooking rice, but it's not that complicated.

then again i've never made sushi before, so how the would i know right?
