Percussion one shot CDs

Can anyone recommend a percussion pack that is not mostly minimal bleeps? I already have a few of those, and unfortunately, most of my hits are not "long" enough (for lack of a better word). The sounds I have now are too short and blippy for the kind of loop construction I would like. I'm not against loops, but I would like as many one shots as possible.
Here is a pack I thought about getting:

Although I'm not trying to recreate the era, progressive house and techno tracks from the early 2000s have sounds I am looking for.
Thanks. |

Waves Alchemy Drums has a decent percussion section. They're not all short and blippy, but I'm not sure exactly what you consider short and blippy. |

Their African Rhythms was the only thing I could find that is close to what I am looking for (it was a loop CD, though).
Appreciate the suggestion nonetheless. |

How about microtonic. Make your own drum sounds. The decay setting can make some pretty long sounds you can stack with shorter samples. |

im looking into buying a new sample cd myself i can safely say ive gone through all my samples more than once and have took out the ones i like and use, now im getting bored with them, i use clubsounds vol, 1 and 3 and myloops drums volume 1 for loops and i have 3 other cds ive bought i dont even use cos they sounded good in the audio demo but where when i bought them! i dont wanna make that mistake a 4th time, i heard the waves alchemy are good but if they are just sampled 808 and 909 sounds im not interested, any other ideas ? |

I never understood why anyone would buy samples when the internet is filled with them. And I don't mean pirating the stuff. |

Finding free quality sources is a lot of work. I've bought a few packs and they've made instant impact on the quality of my productions. I do use an 808 and 909 emulation every now and then too. They're fun. |

Try looking into the somewhat older sample cd's like:
- Technotrance essentials
- Thomas Penton (forgot name of the series but they bare his name) part 1. |

Hi, how about Tribal bongo/jungle loops?
I have the loopmasters/lips/vengeance ones, can anyone recommend any others? |

^^^ Hey? You want Jungle loops? As in 170 BPM ? Or you want tribal tech house loops? Which one?
Good one shots come from wave alchemy, tone hammer and a few others...
Loopmasters also have a few good ones, but you do have to wade through a fair bit of rubbish. |

Thanks. I meant House Jungle-type sounds, not dnb jungle. |
