Daft Punk in October.

So the rumors are getting a little more noticeable.
Anyone else been hearing about Daft Punk opening up the ElecTRONica exhibit at Disney California Adventure?
It would only make sense, since they are labeling it. "nighttime entertainment and dance party." And they are doing the soundtrack.
Opening day is October 8th, and god I hope this ends up happening!

| so another attraction for the guests at california adventure? the family and i have 1 more usage left on our 3 day summer socal pass. planning on going Oct 10th. (Opening weekend) I would assume the 8th would be extra special... |

| I doubt they'll be there. That would've been all over Micechat already. Maybe they'll do a private show, but otherwise there's no room for a Daft Punk show. The only place I can think of would the Hyperion Theater which seats 2000 people or where they do World Of Color, and I seriously doubt they'll replace World of Color with Daft Punk. There has been rumors on Micechat however, that they might add a Tron segnment to World Of Color. That would be awesome! |

Wow I hope either show comes through.
You do have a point about it being on Micechat, they would be all over this.
But you never know, hopefully some one will know 100% by next month lol |

OM Records put out a tweet earlier this week saying they would be there... hence all the chatter. there has been no actual confirmation.
there was an article earlier this month published quoting their management saying they would be doing a national tour in 2011/12. |

This news of course comes as Daft Punk ramp up for their involvement in TRON-Legacy. A dedicated website for the soundtrack produced by the duo went live this week and real music has already be up on the film’s official site. The robots will reportedly make several appearances, as well as perhaps some surprise live sets at screenings. The duo will not take part in the ElecTRONica party launching at Disney’s California Adventure on Oct. 8.
