the trial is for a drug that stops your body from rejecting organ transplants.
seems kinda ed but for UP TO 3k and I'm doing really nothing as it is now. |

Eh closest I've done was test a new upcoming energy drink. You show up having fasted, drink from a cup (double-blind study), then do some physical/cognitive tests while taking blood every hour.
I wouldn't do something like that again. You get a lot of weirdos doing this thing, and they typically need the money badly so they bitch and moan about everything. I just did it because hey why not see what's it like? |

though, wouldn't you need to have an implanted organ for them to consider you? make sure they don't sew a nipple on you when you're sleeping at night. |

| actually tbh i only considered this cause my uncle entered it, he badly needs the $$ so im trying to find info about this and drug trials in general. im a little bit worried for him since he's got kids and a wife to look out for :\ |

that's commendable but if that's the case then i actually wouldn't do it. there are better ways of helping out your uncle financially than risking your health and your potential quality of living. |

| furthermore, i don't think your parents, who in my opinion are more qualified and ought to help out their brother in the first place, would want you to risk your health in something like that either, and neither would your uncle in need (i would hope). does that make sense? like, your uncle is your mom or dad's brother- they have a bigger moral and.. familial(?) obligation to aid your uncle over you. |

my family is.. different for a lack of a better word. theres a lot of drama between my mom and her brother because of his wife. its a long complicated story on that.
i talk to my uncle more than anyone in the family and me and him have a very good relationship. my parents are distant to their siblings, kinda sticking to themselves, and rarely see their siblings. it's stupid.
ive always looked out for my uncle and so fourth. obviously my mom cares a lot for him but he doesn't really tell her much of anything, just mostly me. she tries to help too.
i probably won't do it, just looking to gather information really. |
