Review of DJ ESO @ Phantom Lounge 27/07/2002

Just got back from Phantom lounge and I must say that place HAS CHANGED BIG TIME since it was called "le ritz". This time they actually have a crowd. Nice club, cheaper booze than most clubs I have seen and close to home :D.
DJ ESO got delayed by the owner (I guess) which sucked cause his set was SICK! It was one of the best sets I have heard in a long time in a small club like Phantom. Small Clubs usually lack talent but when DJ Eso spun the house was shaking!!! It was nice Actually meeting you in Person Eso. Thanks for making my ty memories of my e-X-Treemly ty day at work fade away. Considering not only that I got in for free and the cheaper booze and With ESO spinning after 2 AM, I had a great time.
Other than Eso Laying his set shortly after 2 am, before that they played some good Garage as wells as 2 of my past fave tracks "derb - Derb" and "Silence - Delirium feat. Sarah Mclaghlan (sanctuary mix)" Which I went nuts to.
Unfortunately there were not too many TAs there. I think we should support our local TAs when they spin at clubs casue to be honest, I would likr to be supported by my fellow TAs when I am ready/get a chance to spin at a club not matter how small it is. But then again Most tAs probably went to the Barbecue earlier in the night and decided to stay there.
I had a great time and I Will return next time ESO plays @ Phantom :D |

Last week was my first time there after about 2 years and I wholeheartedly agree, you’d be barely able to recognize the place, it’s an intimate setting now, the place is packed and hopefully it will be a bit more trance oriented from now on. I wasn’t able to make it last night but as I said b4 from now on I consider that place to be a local proxy for government
On another note, Eso you mentioned people referred to you as Peter last Saturday, when I went to the dj booth to request more trance a guy in a white t-shirt and blonde hair I think said that he’s up next on the switcheroonies and he was about to drop a trance set. I don’t know if that was you or another dj Peter but I’m looking for that one trance track that was played a couple of tunes after Picotto’s Komodo, that song was absolutely amazing, I had it on my hd that got destroyed but I can’t seem to remember its name. It was hands down the best song of the night, after Nek’s la vita e of course haha :whip: , maybe the tas that were there will remember, it shouldn’t be hard to detect it since there was probably less than 10 trance trax played all night…
So we are looking at an ‘older’ serious uplifting trance tune which was played a bit after Komodo, let's see who knows their music

BBQ Rocked, after we dropped into Phantom where we were once again showered with love.
ESO's set was good! I was surprised it was over, and after a guy just spun one track and the club closed. LoL I wanted to groove dammit!
Well anyways. .

nah that's not it bro
it's a much more mind-boggling track but if you were to guess right and you weren’t there then you should have your own TV show |
