I have a problem with my bassline , maybe because i've been working on this track for sometime my jugement is impared , i think there is no problem with the bass (maybe little in you face but it's gooood). though one of my goto friends said it's little bit harsh , and i'm in need of some good advice as i have a deadline and real soon ...

this is the sample ,

apreciate any help , thanks

There is no bass to speak of. Almost like you have it high passed. Would double that with a sine wave ish sub bass as right now it has very little low end.
Dj_Kile
yeah i did throw in some filtering around 54h and 100h , you say i need get some low frequencies through !
what about what is there now , is it clashing , harsh !?
Mad for Brad
there is nothing to clash with. You just have percussion kick and a bass when the kick isn't playing with no bottom.
Dj_Kile
this is the way i liked it (before adding the filtering)

I like it alot , but isn't it bit aggressive ?
Mad for Brad
i would say the opposite. Use either a compressor with long attack and small release to bring out the transient or a transient designer tool. Right now it is really round.
Dj_Kile
ok , i'll do that , maybe i'll miss around with couple of the parameters see what i will come up with
