I love making these new threads when I finish a track it's a rewarding process :)
Here's my latest and production wise, possibly greatest track so far. Musically I wouldn't mind if the track took another direction but it has been a process to get it where it is now. Logic gave me some hiccups with this and I've never had issues with projects before. This had stuff originally bussed out with some compressors on it but my computer was choking hard so it was all removed and then my soundcard wasn't being recognized right after. THEN the project wouldn't even load I had to load an auto-save and save as. Frustrating when all I want to do is make music took me about 3 days just to get it back to normal
I got really fed up wanted to just scratch it but, put it some work today and I think it's about done from my standpoint.
Every piece of advice I've received from this forum has been taken into account and put to use in my production sessions. Any and all comments are welcomed that's how I learn let me know what you think! I appreciate everyone who listens to my music :)
This is my 4th track that I've officially finished.
Musically I'm not a fan, but who cares about that right!?
I can only listen on some TV headphones right now, but the mix sounds tight. You've also controlled some reverb heavy transitions well, which ain't always easy.
I'll try and blast it through my speakers tomorrow, but sounding spot on thus far :)

The only thing I had a major problem with was the pitch of the hi-hats. Maybe it's personal and it definitely won't keep me from turning on your music (2nd time with this tune, now). I do think, regarding the hats, that you should work in some variation to progress them.
The rest of the tune is mega-ing-spot on. I really like what you're doing at four songs, into this. Really solid inventions for both music and instruments and some of the most original stuff I've heard.
Nice work, sir. Glad you didn't chuck this tune. It knocks some of the "professional (not of this forum)" stuff I've heard, this evening, out of the ball-park.

Listening again on speakers I think my comments from before still stand.
you could possibly find a little more top end by using the right EQ with a small high shelf boost around 5k, but I wouldn't say it was essential.
Good track :)

I appreciate the comments :)
@tehlord - noted I'm always a little scared of boosting my highs but will take that into consideration for sure!
@eddie - variation is key my percs seem to always need some work :P

Really like this tune, man.
The synth that comes in at 1:31 is excellent, really good work. Everything else is great too, especially the melody and the groove. But the part after the breakdown when it all comes back, from 4:30 to 4:45 seems too short to me, I would make it at least double as long EDIT: now when I think of it, it seems fine.. And I agree that the track needs some more highs, it sounds a bit drowned.
Anyway, quality tune, the idea is fantastic, just needs some minor tweaks.
Cheers. :)

Nice chill vibe. Agreeing with Eddie that the drums could use a little progression / variation, if anything, just enough to accent your transitions a little more.
The other thing you might try doing is automationg your sidechain to lead into your build. So at 3:34, 0 sidechain to release tension in your breakdown, then automate the sidechain mix from 0 => 100% or whatever you have it set at. This may add some more interest to the build. (felt like quite a long build in the middle even tho it wasn't)
Percs were pretty cool.
Overall, a well polished track.

not bad for 4rth tune.
At the beginning , the stab is very prominent and the reverb is really muffled. The stab itself sounds extremely muffled which you might have reason later on as things come in but you can automate that. I would of tried to bring out the tom more. In fact I would of grouped your percussion and crushed them a bit to allow more room for the synths as you have many of them. I can already tell you are applying various types of reverbs on many elements including so far the clap, that percussion with the delay, the minor 7th stab I mentioned at the beginning and it makes things muddy. The clap sounds rather clicky and over compressed. The synths that come in later don't seem to have their own space in the spectrum. You don't seem to make use of mid high to high EQ range.
The track has a nice flow although it lacks something to byte on to.

that bass its pretty good ;)
the percs , very simple, very athmospheric .... love them
i think you can make a better work on your synth
the melows donst sound good for me ,

@MFB - I saw on my phone that you commented on my track and was like awww he's going to tear me apart but, thanks for the constructive criticism :)
@Vernon & MFB - Taking a really good listen to this song again I agree 110% that it does sound muddy and could use some separation among the stacked sounds. A little boost here or there would do some good and some careful cutting would do even better. sounds muddy yo!
@theterran - I've never automated the sidechain that sounds interesting care to give a audio example if you can?
I'm a reverb whore I admit it there's not alot I can do it seems to get added to all my leads and melodic elments and alot of my percs. I do promise to try and tone down the "wet" a little it's out of control on some parts looking at the project file. Bad habit!
Again if I could do it again Id take it a different direction musically but she was a bitch to get to where she is. Lessons are being learned here and you all have my full attention :) Maaaaaybe I'll save as and delete all the melodic content and give it a second go here in a few weeks or so.
Class is always in session here on TA glad you took time to listen to my music!

I like the intro (good groove!) the part that i like are the Alcratrez "Gimme Luv" type stabby build up.
I don't really like the break, synths are too harsh (Tehlord how on earth would you like even more highs in there?!?! damn it's already ear piercing)
I also hear too much compression artifacts (not the sidechain on the pads, but overall compression on the track)
Summary:
- Good Groove!
- Boring break!
- nice overall vibe
- Needs more compression tuning
- sooth the harsh highs.

you get a phone call when people post ? man I feel behind in the phone tech. MY phone is 6 years old and can't even take pictures.
