I know a lot of you won't know who this gentleman is, but this is terribly sad news that I have to share.
A truly amazing person, producer and DJ - a fine representation of all that is good in Detroit.
I was speaking with Aaron just over a month ago. He was excited about his upcoming European tour and said that he wanted to come up to Toronto afterward, as he'd never been to the city before.
Literally days before he was scheduled to leave, he was admitted to hospital, with what was thought to have been an anyeurysm around his kidney. It turned out that he had lymphatic cancer. He had just gone in for a biopsy on Tuesday, and as way his way, was doing his best to stay positive and hopeful. So it was an utter shock to hear that quite unexpectedly, Aaron had passed away this morning.
R.I.P., AC - you will be missed by many.
