A new name to Anjunadeep, Eelke Kleijn is by no means a new name to the progressive and techno scene at large. A prodigious and vastly experienced producer, the Dutchman has released on labels as esteemed as Baroque, Lost Language and Nick Warren's Hope Recordings, as well as releasing a full artist album ('Naturally Artificial') on the legendary Global Underground in 2007.
A track of depth, control and slow-burning groove, 'Mémoires' is a testament to Eelke's years of experience and sharp reminder of his future promise. A deliciously deep progressive gem, 'Mémoires' unravels a constellation of twinkling melodies which dance across each other endlessly in a dark but uplifting voyage.
In 'Music In My Pants', Eelke showcases a slightly racier, techno fuelled affair. Again, though, the Dutchman proves adept at weaving hidden depths out of deceptively simple grooves - gradually building a hypnotic tapestry of interlocking melody. Two contrasting sides to a producer of impressive pedigree within the progressive scene.
