Hey everyone!
I'm currently reaching my limits on music production,
i really dont know how I can tune that song even more to it limits.
Please give it a try:

Any comments are welcome, things you like about the track - things you would like to see beeing changed and if you could provide how I get the track louder (because most of commercial tracks are MUCH louder than my one) I would really appreciate that!

mastering will get the song louder.
commercial tracks you buy or download or listen to have all been mastered.. some more than others.
If you want a similar loudness slap a maximiser or expander on it or limiter.
watch out tho u dont want it to distort.
there are alot of internet sites which dont charge much to get your song mastered if you want.
i wouldnt bother tho |

| you want your track to be max -3.0db before you master it. your track won't be as loud as final masters. focus on making it sound good, not on making it sound loud. leave making it sound loud up to the mastering stage |

I really appreciate that!
I uploaded a new version, made some tunings on the baseline,
but I'm not really satisfied - every production I hear is better than mine.

I realized that my production is loud enough - thats not the main problem at the moment.
Maybe someone can help me out and tell me, which elements maybe need some more tuning or even should be replaced. |

Intro has lots of nice drive and oompf
Like the swirling square wave syncy bits going along with the rolling bass
I prefer your'e rolling bass to others I hear which often sound the same
I like the mix - all seems to work for me
BREAK > nice transition down
not sure about the bee in a jar sound constantly playing - it's not special
Pads are nice
In the break so far I feel it had lost it's dancey vibe - it's like a pice of typcial film score shoe horned in
So overall the break didn't make any value statement and has no personaility.
Then leading into the chorus - again no real descernable hook / personality - just a background.
There is a nice gated synth playing - that should maybe be bought out as a proper hook and played in the break - at least elements of it in there.
It's good work - but just give it a personality! |
