| Stayed @ South Beach Marriott last WMC. Eden Roc is clean but not in South Beach. Fountainblue next door to Eden Roc is pretty sick, probably pricey. Delano is another nice spot, central and pricey. |

which Marriot? The Courtyard? Friends stayed there last time and liked it, I think he paid 250-300/night. looks like it's $269. Eden Roc is $389.
The others, I am scared to look!
Maybe I should also consider a rental too? |

| Winterhaven in SoBe is nice. Older art deco hotel (aren't they all?), right across from the beach @ 14th/Ocean, very clean, no bedbugs or rodents, friendly staff. Was there for WMC so the prices were jacked up, probably not the cheapest but sometimes you pay for what you get... Walk two blocks up Ocean to the Front Porch cafe for an awesome breakfast and you're on your way! |

This will be my 6th year to hit up WMC and our 2nd of staying closer to where all the action is. We used to stay at the best western close to Fountain blu, cheap and stuff but taxi rides to the main "strip" added up real quick. No food down on that end of south beach either.
Last year we stayed at the Marseilles and it was pretty good. My only complaint was horrible water pressure. We were right next to the double tree and they had like the best pool parties from what we could tell.

In case you didn't get the memo...ASOT500 is having a tent at Ultra...meaning is already getting booked like crazy driving prices up. |

i doubt that will have much effect on early bookings and/or prices considering the overall lack of trance during wmc week. that aside, you may want to look into renting a studio apartment or condo for the week. it'll be much cheaper than the SoBe hotels. |

^^^^ this
i mean seriously. ASOT has NOTHING to do with WMC hotel prices. heck right now we don't even know where Ultra will be due to construction at the site they have used the past few years.... the hotels all know the estimated WMC dates so they have already raised prices to account for that. |

| Go with a few friends and rent a villa. You'll save a ton of cash and have a lot more room. |

OMG that means everyone is going
Noob.
Agreed that silly ASOT will not affect the hotels and what not they're already outrageous as far as prices go. That does mean alot more younger kids maybe? ing kids I like WMC and Ultra because of the older crowd. |
