Hey, what's up you guys?
I have been working on this trance/progressive track called 'Relativity'. The intro and the outro is not a problem for me when it comes to producing, but the qlimax and the build-up instead. I really... really, don't know what instrument should I use on breakdown.
I need all of your magic
Thank you,
Alex.

I do not intend to promote any of my tunes here. There is artist promotion subforum for that (I already posted there). I linked this thread to my previous tunes so you guys can see my style, but it's ok, I will delete that link and leave only the demo version of that song.
Which you don't understand is... "relativity" is only a small part from the beginning I worked on (the only part).
I am really sorry for any inconvenience I created. I wanted some opinions, that's it. |

then im sorry for giving you a bad time thoe you're new to this forum you wil be better of posting this in pp forum.
as far as the issue you have with the track to me you just need a middle ie a key part to the track.
just sit down and work out what you want from it its your tune man.
if it was mine i would like to here some kind of riff as the build up is very mellow. |

When you start a track, start with the breakdown, write your melody and then build around that with an intro etc.. Imo i find it easier this way, iv a few projects iv started with just intros and iv come stuck when i get to the breakdown on where to take the track, but to others it just comes naturally. |

You are absolutely right. I have loads of projects with starting points, yet no where to build. |

start with a groove imo. and let the melo flow out from it. lol. |

structure is weird and baseline is totally out of control. rest is nice. the high pass filter effect didnt work though. also it is a very static track. |

This is great advice. I almost always start with the breakdown and build the rest of the track around it. The breakdown is where you are going to have most of the stuff that was in your head when you transferred it from your mind so its a natural starting point, for me anyways. |
