Do you like podcasts / radio shows to have chat?

Just interested to gauge what most people's preferences are when listening to music, particularly downloaded mixes, podcasts and radio shows.

I guess at one end of the scale there's the full 'radio show' style with news, interviews, features and every track introduced, maybe a bit of talking every 10 mins or even more often.

At the other end it's just uninterrupted music start to finish and you have to hunt around on the net if you want a tracklist.

Some sit in the middle, maybe introducing the show as a whole and saying where you can find a tracklist and occasionally throw in a sound bite reminding you who you're listening to or what the radio station is called - Essential Mix style - or maybe introducing the tracks but keeping it short and sweet, maybe a quick summary every 15 or 20 mins.

What do you like?

I guess it can vary between situations: I think I prefer pretty much no talking when I'm listening at home cos I'm usually doing some work at the same time, but in the car it's quite nice to hear a little bit about the tunes and the artists.

[was going to do a poll but it won't let me]

It's all down to the 'who' EG London Elektricity is really good on his, he gives enough info and has a laugh with guests and it doesn't interrupt the music like some can. Marcus Intalex's Soul:ution radio shows are the same, you get the info you need, little bits of inside talk and yet 2 hours of good music.
