As to ferry's set i found it alright nothing special imo he was up and down
for the first 45mins later on he pick it up i was hoping to hear Daylight
I thought it was a sure thing for him to play it b/c its on his album so i
showed Ferry my cell for him to play it he said he did not have it how can
you not have one of the best tracks on your album with you! :p
Anyways was great to see everyone again!

It was amazing night overall.. I am glad I have gone to Toronto for Ferry. I was bit undecided on going to either Buffalo or Toronto but Toronto all the way.. :) It's good to be back at the Guv;)

I luv ferry and in my opinion he should be number 1 on the djmag (hopefully one day). Got there around midnight and was pleased deko-ze was playing some sweet classics. There were lots of TA's out in full force and fun to introduce new TA's to some old ones :) Don't you wish ferry had some sorta deal with guv or his flashover label there with an option to purchase once upon a night vol2 ? that would be sweet.
All of his tunes were perfect and made for guv although I was hoping for some breakfast tunes like The Horizon (Juventa Remix). Other songs that were my highlights: made of love, punk, Right Back The Great Escape, Coldplay - The Scientist (Maarten De Jong Bootleg), Hartseer (was thinking it was the Eyjafjallajökull power dub mix but I could be wrong).
I actually got to check out the a/v booth with some friends and it was nice to see how jay and nick make the guv go crazy. Overall I could say that night was by far tops!

I had lots of fun last night. I got to see many friends that I haven't seen ALL summer! You all know who you are ;)
I liked Ferry's set, but I dunno, I expected better. He's my fav. trance DJ, so I always have really high expectations when seeing him. I agree that his first couple hours were alright, but nothing mind blowing. I actually didn't think his set really picked up until around 3am. It got good for me starting w/ "Beautiful", and everything that came after that....esp. PUNK!!!! That track is a classic. Pure gold. From 3-4am I was finally getting into the set, so I was upset when he was done. That set had the potential to go somewhere great.....he just should have taken it to that level earlier!!!:whip:
Deko-Ze's opening set was phenomenal. He played ancient trance & house tracks, going from one genre to the other seamlessly like only a master DJ can, which we all know he is. The trance tracks he was playing were so old, that all of us with every track were like ", I used to LOVE this track...but I can't even remember what it's called!" LOL. Good job Deko-Ze, your set really set a positive tone for the rest of the night. A real trip down music memory lane.
It was a great night to make my return to Guv, after many months of down time :D

Had a good but not great night; the overcrowdedness was getting to me more than usual this time around and I thought I was more prepared for it. Ferry played well but still left more to be desired. His last hour was definately my favourite. Track of the night was hands down Anton Firtich Pres AF Project - Something Wrong :eyespop:
