Paul Oakenfold @ Rain (Las Vegas)

I know you can find Rain by following the trail of blow left behind by Paul, and I know that he's way over the hill, BUT I've heard from some friends that it's actually an EXCELLENT production. Granted, this was a couple years ago. Has anyone been recently?
I'll be down there next weekend and should be able to make it to the show with Marco V and Roger Shah ......... but it's $45 cover. I am still a student, so I don't know if I can justify this on a potential has-been.
For anyone that has been recently, can you tell me what to expect from Oakenfold these days? Am I wasting my time if I'm hoping to hear Southern Sun? |

you're aware of the fact that oakenfold is not spinning that night, right? he's there once a month, when his name is listed on the flier/ticket/promo. |

| Marco V is good and Rain is awesome. Perfecto does a great job putting on a party and I highly recommend going. Totally unique in Vegas. |

hahaha, how's that for timing. he's in vancouver the one weekend i'm in vegas.
the last time i saw a picture of him . . . well . . . michelin man is actually a pretty good description. |
