| Hi everyone.... I've really only gone to a few clubs in Boston and I was just wondering what I should expect when I go to WEMF this weekend. Is there music playing from noon til 4am everyday? Will there be thousands of people there? etc. Sorry for being so clueless about these things. Any insite is appreciated. |

Well, don't forget to pack your bags right, and bring soap and stuff to keep you clean! LOL
I went to the first two WEMf events. Christian Island was one of them, was pretty cool cause we rented an RV, inside we have a Playstation and a fridge, bathroom etc..all the supplies!
A big lug boat has to transfer people over to the island with vehicles, you could take your car over / RV etc..
It was about a 25 - 30 minutes trip acrross the water to get there. The event itself wsa lots of fun, music went on till about 6 every morning, then there was a short break from what I recall, then the music started again. Pretty much much a non stop music event.
Personally, I'm done with party's as of a year or so now, now my focus is mainly playing at them.
Anyhow, stay hydrated and enjoy yourself :gsmile:
Cheers,
Zigg's

Well I live in Boston too, and I went to last year's WEMF which was in the same place. And I had one of the worst experinces of my life...The venue sucked..everything went wrong etc. but i still had fun at some points =)
But this year's is saposed to be planned out more, blah blah blah.. But it's in the same place and i've seen every dj there like 100 times so that makes me not wanna drive 14+ hours to get there.
So....if you've been to a lot of parties (especially outdoor ones) then you'll think the venue sucks and probably will be disapointed. But if you've just started partyin, then you'll probably have a blast :D
Ive just been to so many better places that WEMF makes me wanna stay home.. hopefully next years will be better.
Um what to expect.......Friendly people!! I was surprised how friendly all the Candians were to me!! YOu guys are great :D
Lots of peopole, your gonna get dirty...um...be careful at the border..pay attenshion when your driving in canada....so ing confusing to get to that venue!! Umm.....Hehe I dunno what else to say...have any more spacific questions's i'll be happy to answer for you :D
Have fun!! |

| Thanks for the responses. I definately plan on bringing a lot of water. It'll be a drive, but I'm sure it'll be well worth it! |
