| People get suspended for truancy? During my sophomore year I stopped going for a YEAR. I have never received a letter or a phone call during that time. A truancy officer showed up at my door once so I got my non english speaking neighbor to talk to her, the officer never showed up again. The next school year I went back and graduated early :stongue: |

| It's mandatory to go to school until 16 yeats old - at which point one could drop out if they want. You can't just miss classes without a doctor's note/note from parents. You can write your own absense notes once you're 18...but I doubt that matters here any more, because high school is one less year than it used to be. |

actually twice, now that i think about it. 1st time- i used to pick up my best friend every morning for school and he would get us high on the way there. we ended up smoking a huge doob one morning (the first friday of the first week of school senior year) which, if any of you guys used to burn before class, is like, the worst possible method of smoking possible since it ing stinks so much (and makes your hands reek once it gets down to the roach). anyways i was always extra careful and brought a cologne bottle with me in my bag and washed my hands hardcore the moment i got into school. my buddy on the other hand was dumb and ended up passing out in 1st period. he gets called out by the assistant principal who s him over, who tries to me over, but i claimed that "if my friend smoked, it was before i picked him up." and i got off with no penalty.
the other time, i was playing snare drum for the band during a basketball game and me and a couple of my drummer buddies went out to the parking lot during halftime to smoke a (yet another) doob. again, hands stunk like , the band teacher smells it; he tells us to meet him in the band room. we all start walking in there as the teacher heads over to notify the police liason officer- we end up booking it out of the school. ran out the back, through the gymnasium (where the game was being played), and all the way to the back lot where my car was at.
two days later i was flipping through public access TV and you could see me and the other guy running through the gymnasium at the foot of the bleachers during a replay of the basketball game, looking like we had just ourselves. LOL
tl;dr- close calls with pot, man. i've had an even closer call with rolls one time; still makes me shiver whenever i think about how close i could've been to ing up my .

when i was in high school we used to skip all the time, no problem. sure, you'd get absences/truancy notices, but whatever. the year after we graduated though, the city passed a new ordinance- kids caught skipping would get a ticket from the police, and if caught more than three times, their PARENTS would get fined. WTF. |

| Never. Anyone that gets suspended/expelled obviously isn't good enough at hiding things from the staff. Or a complete goody two shoes. Either or. |

i got kicked out from school in russia in grade 4, during that year my teacher hated me so much that i wasn't let into class at all. i used to collect lunch money right before school day started from all the losers in class and walk like 20min to this fireworks store and buy load of fireworks/smoke bombs/firecrackers, then i played basketball with kids from grade 7-8 that were skipping as well until the end of the day and then i would meet up with fags from class blast the fireworks and other on the soccer field behind the school almost daily. i got expelled for that..
went to another school, in grade 7-8 i stopped being let into to my biology class because i ripped all the leaves on all plants in the room so we would end up chilling and smoking in girls washrooms when we were like 12-13 (common site in russian schools) so when i said im leaving the country they gladly let me go.
in canada it was ing gay as hell, grade 8 here was like grade 3 in russia, everyone was ridiculously immature so i got into a fight like 3 times and suspended, also suspended for poisoning an english teacher for dumping chalk in her coffee while she was out of the class, although that didnt poison her some ing asian piece fo went up to her and told her i put something in lmao
grade 9 and 10 i was suspended 3 times because of smoking inside the school and once expelled from summer school for being drunk and barfing in class lol.
overall i've failed 11 classes in highschool but still graduated with 54% average. School was fun. :D |

Wow I never figured Lira as a bad ass. I had a few ex-nun teachers and I lived in fear of them. One would whack you with a ruler another would grab you by the ear lobe and drag you down to the principal. When they got mad just a look with their eyes would make you pray to god. I'm still scared of nuns.
I once fell asleep on the school bus on the way home when I was little. The driver found me while he was cleaning up the bus. |

In Catechism, I didn't ask questions because I just wanted memorize what I needed to pass the test and get out of there as quickly as possible. Besides most answers were "its the mystery of god" or "take on faith" etc. I was too confused about what exactly was the holy ghost in the trinity and how come he didn't get a bigger part in the bible. To me religion was some sort weird you didn't question that didn't have anything to do with real life. |

| i got expelled 4 times and went to 6 different high schools. I still managed to complete high school on time. I was good at school, i was just a disturber. Mostly fights, i got expelled once for getting a girl pregnant. |
