actually, grimreaper told me he recently got hold of this which has the full monty on cd. good luck on finding that though, it seems to be quite elusive. |

Wow. :eyespop: Nice. Never seen that before on Discogs. Australian CD single from 1994 featuring a not that well known tune which is considered a huge classic by many who are into trance. Yeah, might be tricky to find indeed. :( |

Yup, got a bunch of Oz cdms a while back, including this and a few other treats I had been after for years. Well happy now. :D
Before a friend of mine actually told me about the I Need A Man/Point Zero cdm earlier this year I didn't know of its existence either. Most Oz cds, especially any from pre-2000, are damn hard to get hold of unless you know some kind Australian mate who could help you out tracking them down. |

That's hilarious, I was just talking to someone else about that CDM yesterday. Must be word is spreading about it lately.
I imagine you're amazingly happy with that!
I know I have quite a few Oz CDM's on my discogs wishlist. I want my full length tracks in amazing digital quality dammit! |

| Over the past 1.5 years have got all the oz cdms on my wishlist except for one, the Orange Theme featuring the full MWNN remix. I occasionally get notifications about it on discogs but for ridiculous prices so haven't bothered. |

I know I was extremely happy to finally track down my copy of Blue Amazon - The Javelin from Australia with the bonus CD of full length mixes.
Seems everything from that island has the full length mixes and is damn expensive!
Do you have the MWNN mix on vinyl or anything at least? |

Sure Hamid, I'll make a list of the oz cd releases I've managed to find when I get home later tonight. All for reasonable prices too which makes me smile even wider.
And Joseph, I do have the MWNN remix on vinyl but I don't spin vinyls too often these days and I'm not really into playing mp3s on the comp either so cds are more handy for me in many cases. it's just that the releases I want, are impossible to get, some of them anyway.
Also agreed on the price and length matter.. it's either the kangaroo land or Japanese or Hong Kong releases which often have full mixes not commonly available elsewhere. HMV Hong Kong used to provide with me with loads of great Avex Trax cdms for example and then equally many "surprisingly" ended up being out of stock. |

Kangarooland :stongue:
Yeah, they didn't need to abide by the stupid "less than 20 minute" for a CDM rule that Europe did which ended up with tons of beautiful tracks being edited :(
I don't have a good enough system to record my vinyls to high quality mp3 yet, so I'm afraid to play any of them in case I mess up the record. Big fan of CDs, myself, though I often will play them through my iPod speaker system since I don't have a good high quality speaker system for a CD player or my computer. I have a ton of sound equipment I want to buy (new turntable, new mixer, new speakers, new headphones, etc), but I keep spending my money on records and CDs. I figure the hardware will be around forever, but someone else might by the music before me!
I'm interested in seeing the list too! I like stalking people's music collections :p |

| Yeah I remember back in 1999 when I bought some Platipus CDMs I noticed that Platipus was running some campaign against UKs stupid 20 min regulations. Do they still have that rule? |

the current(?)* uk singles rule are the same as the one before 1997. being you can two singles, one with b-sides or other tracks than the a-side. max 20minutes. second single, variations/remixes of the a-side only. max 40minutes
*i don't know if they changed it now with cd singles not being that hot property anymore.
back before 1997 alot of acts used to go around the cin rules (if they still wanted that particular format of cd being charted) by labeling some tracks as remixes.
underworld were well known of this, which has led to confusion laterhand. i.e 'dark train', an own track, was on the dark & long single, but as dark & long (dark train)
another case, paul van dyk. on the 'beautiful today' single, there is 'sundae 6 am' as a b-side. on the german release it's just listed as 'sundae 6 am, but on the uk single it's "beautiful today (sundae 6 am)". |
