I also found that I have made many tracks and nothing has come from them except they sit on my hard drive. I've wasted many weeks/months on tracks when I should of sacked it off and started over on something new.
As mentioned above by the quotes, you can sometimes learn from other tracks even if they arent good, and as you arent happy, at least you know you have to improve. That is what I take from all those tracks that sit on my drive, and use those techniques down the line.
I've heard peoples tracks and they honestly believe it is good when they are deluded, the track is rubbish like those people on X-factor in the audtions, totally deluded. Remember that guy goodtime who posts on TA? He thinks his music is good but he is obviously insane. At least you have the sight to see you have to improve. |
