Please, nice lineup? Well, I know taste is in the eye of the beholder but I've never read a line-up where I didn't recognize 50% of the artists. |
WOW! I only didn't recognized two names and I'm not big into trance anymore. |

i haven't listened to trance in years and years and still i recognize all but 4 of those listed.
i've come to the conclusion that the influx of n00bs and ridiculously ignorant comments today is some sort of elaborate troll scheme. |

Might be because in the lineup it less trance DJs that other DJs.... |

This is heartbreaking to me... the end of an era.
I've been to the last 6 Trance Energy parties and now I'm not sure if I'm going to go anymore. I used to look forward to it all year long.
The vibe and energy of the crowd was amazing, a truly all-trance party for the 30,000 biggest trance lovers in the world.
It's gone now. Tiesto probably won't even play trance but that cheasy tech house stuff he plays sometimes.
R.I.P. Trance Energy =( |

Another wreckage by ID&T. They don't care about people only attending for Tiesto and leaving at 3 a.m. As long as it sells out(like Sensation)..
I'm glad I still attended this year's edition, but I'm gonna move on now. The 2012 edition will be featuring David Guetta and a guest performance of Justin Bieber. |

The lineup does suck.
In prior years, you had a predominately trance lineup. You would go to the event to listen to trance music.
Now it's just another trance/house/electro festival whose lineup is boring and uninspired. Do we really need more of these kinds of events?
I'm not a fan of techno, but I'm glad events like DEMF aren't turning into festivals like Ultra or Creamfields. Sometimes it's nice to only listen to one genre at a festival. The promoters though keep trying to expand these events to attract a wider audience but it ends up making them worse. |
