| I really like his more chill productions, especially the Late Night Alumni stuff, but I completely forgot about this event and I'm going to Thrillseekers tomorrow. Oh well. :/ |

sausage fest more like it, bc the dudes have the same mentality. 2-3 years ago for sure...but then word of mouth spreads about the fellatio ratio and the scales tip. Last week sf was

Kaskade's brand of music tends to be sexy and classy. It's no surprise that ladies and the gay population are into it.
But for us straight guys, I think of it as "Don Draper music". It's the kind of stuff that makes you want to have a glass of scotch, loosen the tie, lower the lights, and spend time around beautiful women. :) |

Well, it definitely was no sausage fest.
Almost no line to get the tickets from the Groovetickets tent but a long line that went to the other end on Sunset to get it. It moved relatively fast though.
Not super packed. You could easily walk through any area including the dance floor. The whole right side second floor was VIP.
The opened was good. Kaskade was OK. Very good visuals.
Decent to good drinks (but small glasses). The bar started closing at 1:30 which you weren't forced to dump them at 2am.
I love the energy of these 18+ events. |

it was honestly much better than i expected. it was my first time in the palladium and i really enjoyed it. to me, it feels like a HUGE club.there was enough room to move around whenever you'd like. the sound/lighting was good..just wish that they would pour more alcohol..portions were pretty small.
kaskades set was pretty damn good.he started off w some cheesy stuff but after 2am he was playing some heavy music. my friends wanted to leave at like 230am but i was impressed w the direction he was going.
will definitely go their for tatw 350 in december. |
